I am just really excited to share that I will be traveling to New York in two weeks, to attend the opening of the first SOLE lab in the United States.

Sugata Mitra won the Ted prize a few years ago for his work on SOLEs and The School in the Cloud. His work gave open access of the internet to young people and allowed them to learn anything they wanted. He found that when students have open access to the internet and they are able to work with other people, they can learn absolutely anything! The internet has so much power, and we are just beginning to realize it and be able to use it.

This self organized learning environment (SOLE) is incredible and is changing the scope of education. I am very excited, because I really believe this is going to be the future of education.
