Time to be Courageous

Daily Insight Video

I just got back from the opening of the first SOLE lab in the US this weekend. It was an amazing experience, and I want to give a huge “thank you” to Natasha Spann, the principle of the John Russwurm School in Harlem.

During the opening of the lab, she spoke about how she is constantly looking at cutting edge research in the education field and trying to bring it to her students. It takes courage to try out these new techniques or ideas, and I applaud her for that. Being the first school to open a SOLE lab in the United States is remarkable.

So, I just want to give a public “thank you” and show of gratitude to Principle Spann.

This has inspired me to reflect on things in my own life and find ways that I can be more courageous in my work with Academic Life Coaching. I want to find ways to incorporate more cutting edge ideas into the program and reach out to form more strategic partnerships.
