The Challenge of Slow Progress
I’m often disappointed at how little progress I usually make each day. I start out with a list of twelve worthy objectives, only to realize that I usually finish off three. Yes, other things come up. The phone rings. Email gets delivered. And I’ve still got to eat.
A mountain of work lies ahead. I take a few steps each day, but I’m consistently upset at how little I accomplish.
Then I get upset for getting upset at myself.
“I’m a Life Coach, I should know better and be grateful and shift my perspective to be happy for what I have.”
Every once in awhile I get a glimpse of the view, and it makes the climb totally worth it.
And I’m even grateful for the daily frustration of wanting to accomplish more for pushing me along.
